Corisecio Mobile Suite

CORISECIO – Mobile Suite is the enterprise solution for the efficient and secure use of mobile devices in companies. Using Central Device Management with automatic roll-out new devices are enterprise ready with only a few clicks!

SecurityRunTime (basic component)

The securityRunTime is a secure Runtime Environment for the implementation of security on mobile devices. Offers remote configuration, device management as well as roll-out mechanisms.

Mobile Suite - Mobile Firewall

Sets user rights for change of settings, rules for use of interfaces (e. g. WLAN, IrDA, Bluetooth, Active Sync), applications and features (e. g. camera). To enhance usability unused and blocked program- and settings can be removed easily.

Mobile Suite - Mobile PKI

Enables easy creation, distribution and use of certificates for Single-Sign On, file encryption as well as email encryption or VPN connections on Windows Mobile devices. For BlackBerry an certificate-based encryption of the communication can be realized.

Mobile Suite – LBS Automation

LBS Automation adds location based services to the CORISECIO – Mobile Suite. Based on geo-location data the mobile devices’ location dependent behavior is automated.

Mobile Suite – Enterprise

Adds user, rights & role management to the Mobile Suite. Optionally enables integration of existing Meta Directories, Trust Center and CA. Offers extended Roll-Out possibilities e.g. via Web applications or Portal.

Architecture

The Product Suite works with an administration component and a runtime environment on the mobile device. IT administration so may configure mobile end devices „remote“. The configuration and security settings are generated as Security Rules. The administration may generate installation packages (CAB, Desktop Installer, SD-Card) via wizards. CORISECIO offers for distribution at the Enterprise Version automated methods. The stand-alone version supports leading solutions for software distribution, i.e. ActiveSync.

After transfer to the mobile devices the CORISECIO Software (and 3rd Party Software) is installed and the Security Rules are implemented. On the mobile device the securityRunTime (secRT) serves as a basis for the client software. The secRT is a service-oriented runtime component for Windows Mobile and RIM-based devices. It serves as safe environment which ca be protected against manipulation, uninstall and termination. Furthermore the secRT provides services for enforcement of Security Rules. The architecture allows the system wide services may be addressed and used by single functions. All components, e.g. Mobile Firewall using the secRT as secure runtime environment and therefore can be added easily.

Embedded systems like Windows Mobile are very hardware dependent. CORISECIO answers to the surge of new devices and versions with a unique concept which enables support of new devices without code change. Device specific information is swapped out in a „Device Knowledge Base“ and is used not until installation on the device. During the installation the installer generates the device specific Cab-Files from this information. Support and licensing of new devices is done via just updating the Knowledge Base. So even new next generation PDA may easily supported by CORISECIO. The DKB is updated by CORISECIO at regular intervals.
